Saltmarine Used Car Centre staff were fine but the car was not checked out properly before I took delivery. I had no cool air from the Air Conditioner and I had to go back 3 times before the need for a new compressor was identified. Journeys have been extremely uncomfortable due to this problem and the new part is not due in until this Thursday when I again have to take time off work to bring my car back to the dealership.
My experience at Saltmarine Used Car Centre was positive because they were pleasant, approachable and open to a conversation on price!
Buying from Saltmarine was a really straightforward process. I found the car I was interested online, drove up, was offered a test drive with the dealer and then solo, and when I returned we negotiated a price. I felt like I'd got a deal, and I think they were happy to make a sale - everyone went home happy!
Rather than most places where the first question in the door is "how do you intend to finance", Saltmarine were more interested in finding me the right car and ensuring I was happy with my choice. Payment options weren't raised until we'd struck a deal - which made me feel more like a customer than a piggy bank. The service I received was far better than any other dealership I visited. Maybe this is why I bought the car!
